Where did the time go? I can’t believe my little girl is already 5 months old. She will be 1 and walking before I know it. I’m absolutely obsessed with taking pictures of this little cutie and I just can’t seem to put the camera down. So when I’m not shooting weddings, bridals, engagements, etc., you know what my main subject is. I have tons of images just sitting on my computer waiting to be shown so I decided to give you an update.
It’s amazing, as a mom, how excited you get about the little things. Her first tooth (which just came in), the first time she sat on her own (a few weeks ago), and the first time she laughed (about a month ago). Each week she seems to be doing something new and it gives my life a whole new sense of adventure.
We finally got some family pictures and I was in them! There are also a few of just me and the hubby. I’m almost never in pictures anymore so it was nice of photographer Chelsea McGowan of McGowan Images to do a photo session swap with us. I get to shoot her maternity/family session in February so stay tuned for those. Chelsea was great to work with and we had so much fun. It’s nice to get out from behind the camera sometimes.
It’s hard to believe that my little girl is already 1 month old. She’s growing up way too fast. My maternity leave is quickly coming to an end, but I’m really looking forward to all of the amazing weddings I have left to finish this year off. Here are some pictures from a little photo shoot that Hayley and I did.
Hayley came into the world on September 22 at 2:20pm. She was 7lbs 13oz and 21 inches. I was past my due date by 4 days and was starting to think she was never going to get here. She is absolutely beautiful and we love her so much. She is keeping us extremely busy right now, but we don’t mind.
I’m 37 weeks pregnant and baby Hayley will be here anytime within in the next 3 weeks. My wonderful husband/second photographer took this picture of me before the bump disappeared. I will be on maternity leave all of September and October, but I will be posting pictures of our new family member after she is born.
